What's at camp

Built for week-long pickleball, not survival mode.

You came to play, not to fight your camp. We handle the infrastructure so you can focus on the court — and everything else the playa is for.

  • Full pickleball court

    Regulation-size, built on the playa. Paddles and balls available. Open play and friendly tournaments.

  • Bar w/ picklebacks

    Whiskey + pickle brine, served all week. Open camp, not gifting limited — bring your cup.

  • Shade structures

    Shade over the lounge, bar, dining, and where you sleep — tent or shiftpod. Built to take the wind.

  • Showers

    Outdoor showers with gray-water containment. Stay reasonably presentable.

  • Camp portos

    Serviced regularly. No event-line walks at 3am.

  • Generator power

    Camp-wide grid powers the bar, kitchen, and shared spaces — and your tent, if you want to plug in.

  • Shared kitchen

    Stoves, prep space, fridges, dish station. Meals are BYO — the kitchen is yours.

  • Camp bikes

    Small fleet of camp bikes — first come, first serve. Bring your own for guaranteed wheels.

The founders have spent 10+ years in BRC running camps and pushing art cars. We know how the playa breaks plans, what infrastructure actually holds up in a whiteout, and how to build a camp where the vibe is set on day one.

What we hadn't built yet was a court worth playing on. That's what this is.

What you're probably wondering.

What if I'm not good at pickleball?
Skill level isn't the bar — we're picking for a mix. The roster will range from 'never picked up a paddle' to 4.5+. Want in? Apply.
First-year camp — will the court actually be there?
The founders have spent 10+ years running BRC camps and art cars. We know what holds up in a whiteout and what doesn't. The court is the whole point.
What does the application screen for?
Skill mix across the roster, who you'll camp with, and what you can bring. We want fifty people who'll actually like each other — not the first fifty to fill the form.
When will I hear back?
Within a week. We don't ghost.
Do I need a Burning Man ticket?
Yes. Burning Man tickets are separate from camp dues — you secure your own through the main sale or STEP. Once you're on the roster, campmates often help each other find tickets through the network, but the camp doesn't allocate them.
Will I have shifts at camp?
One mandatory shift per member during the burn — bar, kitchen, or wherever you fit. Strike on the last Sunday is also mandatory (everyone tears down together). Build week is optional.
What if I don't have an RV?
Tent or shared structure is fine — most members camp that way. Some campmates also split RV space; flag it on the form and we'll connect you.
Can I bring a partner or friend?
Yes, but each person applies separately. We need to know who's on the roster and what they bring.
